Activating Bluetooth

Activating Bluetooth on your device

1. Turn on, or enable Bluetooth in the Settings or Connectivity section of your menu.
2. Make sure your device is ' visible' and not 'hidden', so other nearby devices can pick up your signal.
3. Give your device a name to identify it when connecting to other devices.

Making a Bluetooth connection and sending a file to another device:

1. Find the file you want to send.
2. Select the option to send it via Bluetooth - your device will now search for other devices within range and display them on your screen.
3. Select the device you wish to connect with.
4. If the other device needs 'pairing', you will need to enter a PIN number - make sure the other device does the same. If the other device doesn't have any way to do this, check it's manual. There is usually a default PIN for these devices.

You don't need to see the other device for the connection to work. Once the connection is made between the data will start to send.
