Problems with Nokia O2 PAYG devices
Internet access and data service issues with Nokia O2 Pay As You Go devices
If you have one of the following Nokia devices on O2 Pay As You Go, you may be experiencing problems accessing the internet, or with your data services:
- S40, S60, X200, X300, X302, C300
If you are having problems, carry out the following steps on your phone:
- Select Menu > Settings > Configuration > Default configuration
- And select O2 prepay as your default
- Then select Personal settings, to create a new preferred access point
- Select Add New > Access Point > Account Name
- Replace the name in My Access Point to O2 Payg
- Click Access point settings > Bearer settings and change the following:
- Packet Data access pt. change to Payandgo.o2.co.uk
- Change usename to payandgo
- Change password to password and confirm the password again when asked
- To associate your new access point: Select Menu > Settings > Configuration > Preferred access point
- Select O2 Payg
Now close the menu and open up your browser to access the internet
