What are BlackBerry apps?

Applications (or apps for short) are small computer programmes that run on your BlackBerry and enhance what it can do. Download them at BlackBerry App World or select the App World button in your BlackBerry's menu to browse apps instantly.
Scan a barcode wherever you see an app you like: online, at an event or in print. BlackBerry App world will find it for you, giving you details, reviews and the option to download it instantly.
Customise your BlackBerry with the things you love, whether it's apps for chat, cooking or movie-making, the selection is endless and new ones are added all the time.

How much are they?

BlackBerry Apps range from free to around Ł10 and once downloaded they're permanently stored on your BlackBerry. Pay for apps with PayPal, a credit card or through your bill.
When you download apps, you might also be charged for internet usage. Check with your network for more info.
Remember: it's always a good idea to back up all precious things like apps on a personal computer.
