Turn it off then on again

Have you ever called a support centre for help troubleshooting your device only to be told to turn it off then on again? Well that's exactly what this page does!
So many issues with your device can be solved this way. Before you turn off your device make sure you save anything you were doing, so no information is lost.

Firstly try to Restart your iPhone:

1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top of your iPhone until a red slider appears
2. Slide your finger accross the slider and your iPhone will turn off
3. Turn your iPhone back on by holding down the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple log appears on your screen

If this doesn't solve the issue Reset your iPhone:

1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears
2. Turn your iPhone back on by holding down the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple log appears on your screen
