Tethering

Use your phone's internet access on your PC

This process is called tethering and it allows you to access email and internet using your USB cable or Bluetooth.

Connecting your PC to the internet with your USB cable

  • You'll need to have the LG PC Suite installed on your PC.
  • Connect your phone to your PC and launch the LG PC Suite software.
  • Click InternetKit on your PC
  • Click New, then Modem
  • Select LG Mobile USB Modem and select OK
  • Follow the onscreen prompts

Connecting your PC to the internet via Bluetooth

  • Ensure Bluetooth is turned on
  • Load LG PC Suite to create an active Bluetooth connection
  • Click Internet Kit on your PC
  • Click New
  • Select LG Mobile USB Modem and select OK
  • Follow the onscreen prompts

Remember

Tethering may use data from your mobile internet allowance. Check with your network to see what your data plan allows.
