Downloading apps

Google play shop has free and paid apps for your phone. To make a purchase, you'll need to visit Google to create a checkout account. Here you can register a payment method to purchase apps with.

Select the All Apps button on the home screen
Select Play store.
To find an app:
- Browse the featured apps - scroll through the list
- Browse by categories - select Apps or Games, and then select a category. You can then filter the apps by Top paid, Top free or Just in.
- Search - select the magnifying glass, enter details of the type of app you're looking for, then press the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of your phone
When you've found an app you like, select it to read its description and any user reviews.
To download or purchase the app, select free (for free apps) or the price button under Buy (for paid apps).

Here's an example of downloading an app

Select the All apps button
Select Play Store
Select from one of the categories:

Apps
Music
Books
Magazines
Movies

To view the most popular free apps select Top Free

Select an app eg. Facebook Messenger
Select Install to install the application

Then select Accept and download to download the application to your device
