Using Siri

Siri is the intelligent personal assistant that helps you get things done just by asking

Siri is a voice recognition tool that allows you to give instructions to your device. This could be anything from asking for directions to making calendar entries. To use Siri you’ll need internet access.

To use Siri:

• Press and hold the home button
• After the tone, ask a question or give an instruction e.g. “Call Betty”

To cancel a request:

• Say “cancel” or press the home key

If Siri doesn’t hear you correctly:

• Tap the speech bubble on screen showing what Siri thinks you said and type the correction, or hit the microphone icon to dictate it
• Tap Done once you’ve finished
