iCloud

Setting up iCloud

iCloud is a storage service provided by Apple. To set it up on your device it must be running iOS 5. If you have an iPhone 4S, the software will already be installed, if not you can download it here.

If you are turning on a new iOS 5 device for the first time or if you have just updated it, you can follow the onscreen instructions to set up iCloud.

If you missed this, or want to change your iCloud settings:

• Select Settings on the home screen and select iCloud, you can now turn on or off any of the iCloud services.
• To enable backup, scroll to the bottom, tap Storage and Backup and turn on iCloud Backup

To automatically download newly purchased music, apps and books made on your other iCloud devices:

• Hit Settings on the home screen and select Store, then select what you want to download
