BB Curve 3G SIM PIN PUK

How to fix SIM card problems

A SIM card is a small, flat piece of plastic that connects your BlackBerry to your network. It's removable, and you'll find it by taking the battery out and looking underneath.

Your BlackBerry may display a SIM card error message if:

  • The SIM card is out of place. If you've recently dropped, bumped, or opened your phone, the SIM card may need adjusting. Follow the SIM card installation instructions in your BlackBerry Curve 3G's user guide.
  • Your PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) code has been entered incorrectly too many times. See our PIN and PUK page for more information.
  • You've recently changed networks. Your SIM card or BlackBerry may be configured to your previous network and will need to be reconfigured. Your current network will be able to help.

Your phone's SIM card is provided by your network - please contact them for more help with SIM card issues.
