What to do...

We get a lot of requests for repairs and technical help which you can easily fix yourself, saving you time.
Just follow these simple steps:

Reset your device

 

Phones sometimes just need a break - turning your phone off and back on can solve a lot of issues:

  1. If the display is off, press the power button at the top to turn it back on
  2. Unlock the display
  3. Press and hold the power button, and then select Restart
  4. When asked to confirm, tap Restart

Clean the SIM/memory card

 

Sometimes dust can get between the SIM and the phone, causing issues:

  • Turn your phone off, take out the battery and slide the SIM card out
  • Clean the gold space on the SIM with a clean lint-free cloth. Be careful SIMs are fragile
  • Replace the battery and wait for your device to start up again. Again, this could take a while so be patient!

Update the software

 It could be a software issue, so make sure you have the latest software for your phone. Learn how to update your phone software

Work out what's not working

 

The issue will either be with your SIM or your device, find out which by trying your SIM in a different phone or a different SIM in your device.
