Inserting a memory card

Give your Samsung more storage space by inserting a memory card. Remove the back cover of your phone  

• The memory card slot is to the left of your phone when the screen is facing down
• Insert your memory card with the gold area facing down
• Push the memory card into the memory card slot until it clicks into place
• Replace the back cover of your phone

Removing a memory card

To ensure you don't lose anything on the memory card whilst removing it, follow these instructions:

• Select Settings
• Select SD card
• Select USB Mass Storage & phone storage
• Select Unmount SD card
• Then follow the above instructions to remove the card from your Samsung

Important

• Never remove a memory card while the device is still transferring or accessing information, this could result in loss of data or damage to the memory card or device.
• Frequently saving and erasing data on a memory card will shorten its life span.
