To get the most from your phone, it's a good idea to update its software every now and again. Also, you may think your phone is broken and in need of a repair when a simple software update will do the trick. These updates are free and have some great benefits, including:
  • Great new features
  • Updated applications
  • Better performance
  • Fixing known software problems

Downloading Zune

Firstly you will need to download the Zune software on to your computer. This is available on the Zune website

Follow the installation instructions to set up Zune. Once it has been installed, open the program and connect your phone to your computer via the USB cable that came with your phone.

To update your software, go to the Phone menu on Zune and click on Update to check for any available updates.
