Turning on Wi-Fi

We recommend using a Wi-Fi connection when browsing, wherever possible.

On the home screen, select the square grid
Select Settings
Select Wireless & networks
Check the box next to Wi-Fi
Your phone will then start scanning for available Wi-Fi networks

Adding a Wi-Fi sleep policy

This programmes your device to automatically switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data.

On the home screen, select the square grid
Select Settings
Select Wireless & networks
Select Wi-Fi settings
Select the 4 line icon
Select Advanced
Select Wi-Fi sleep policy then select from the list

Remember

Keeping connections running uses up your battery. Once you've finished, remember to return to the home screen to turn any connections off.
