PAC Code explained

What is a PAC?

  • PAC stands for 'Port Authorisation Code'. It's what allows your current service provider to transfer your number to your new service provider.
  • Your current network must give you a PAC (or tell you why they can't give it to you) within two working days. Getting a PAC is free once you've paid any outstanding bills and any disconnection fees.
  • PACs are valid for 30 days from the day your network gives it to you.
